Beer, wine returning to Toppenish Safeway shelves

"U.S. Attorney's office defined alcohol sales as legal in two reservation towns -- Toppenish and Wapato -- because they were mostly populated by non-Indians." This just seems like an outright attack on the sovereignty of the Yakama Reservation. If the people of the Yakama Nation start to decline while non-Native Americans move in, it would all be eliminate any sovereignty that the Yakamas still have. Little by little, we are seeing the systematic elimination of a race and culture if things continue.
